Celica Forums General Discussion Engine and Performance regular or extended?

Hey Guys
I am looking into getting a used trd exhaust. I have an 05 gts with action package. He is selling a regular (not extended) one. What would happen if I used the regular? Will it just not reach out the length of the action package? Also on the 05 action package there is that little fake exhaust tip on the bumper so the stock exhaust doesnt even reach the tip, so will it be the same?

you can buy the standard one and have a muffler shop extend the pipe out more

That fake tip is removable. I'd get rid of it and like the others say, just get a muffler shop to extend it. It should then look like this:
