so i installed my new el glow gauges today. and whadda ya know i smell something burning. an my gauges are flickering and i hear a crackling sound...after i finally got it off...its freaking burned to the tar and burned my stock gts gauges!!! arggg...i installed everything correctly..only except my hot wire(positive) was connected to my led connection, which runs through the cig lighter...what do i do now?

heheh...i got reverse gauges too...first time i installed it...i hear a very high pitch sound...constant...but very soft...still does that...

i don't think mine ever smoked and smelled...haha...i dunno...i got mine from ebay..lol

i was able to repair it...thank god i payed attention in physics and electronic engineering...that sound may be from the transformer...other wise i have no clue...is it near a fan?
