Did anybody else get this? I took it to traffic court today to help my defense from my accident but my case was dismissed anyway. No points on my license. It mentions that the master brake cylinder can increase vehicle stopping distance & thus raise the possibility of a crash. Or something to that extent.

They fixed mine yesterday. I didn't have a problem stopping, but since it was free I let them do it.

I just did mine yesterday too. It says Inspection only required break master cylinder and booseter. Bleed Brakes.

And all they did was just put in the brake fluid and gave me a carwash.

I'm happy your case was dismissed.
I got my letter a couple days ago.
I was scheduled to be in to Toyota tomorrow for possible bad CV joints, broken axle, who knows plus the recall on top. I had to cancel due to circumstances.
I know what Toyota will say about the master cylinder already. "There seems to be no problem with your master cylinder or brake booster. Our mechanics inspected the parts according to the recall letter and nothing was found that would deem Toyota in replacing those parts. The mechanic also test drove your car and he was surprised at how well your car could stop."

Toyota and those mechanics=a buffoon riding on top of a carnival monkey's back while the ring leader turns the handle of a music box shaped like a giant veinous dildo waiting to screw you over.

i just got mine done yesterday they were kinda being jerks to me for no damn reason. Guess because it didnt cost me any money or somthing?! when i went in there they couldnt find any indication of me having set up an appoitment for my car to be worked on. When they asked me if i got it serviced here before i said no but the previous owner came here with the car all the time. Then the guy said I asked if YOUD been here before so i just said "alright buddy you got your answer" anyways thats kinda how the whole situation went downhill after that. Maybe if id had shown them 1K bucks or somthing theyd been my friend for the day? hell if I know.. Toyotas main headquarters is the ones who told me theyd have my local toyota dealer fix the problem?! anyways i think im gonna find another toyota dealer to service my car in the future. just for reference it was Sam Swope/Toyota of Louisville..
