the carbon fiber trunklid/hatch does exist!
i too was doubting it's actual production but six months later, since i ordered it, i finally got it.

hmm..will it be durable enough to hold the trunk up with those shocks screwed directly to the trunk?

the carbon fiber Hood already has the pegs that stick out to fasten the shocks to. i'm more worried 'bout it's durability in supporting the wing (kaminari) over time.

awsome!!!! now jsut dont let anyone close it. i wish i had auto open and close hatch and doors. poepl jsut slam it. man that pisses me off

keep us updated on things. like if you use the stock glass or go lexan, how much that costs. ease of install. and durablity. if i were to get it, i probably wouldnt put a wing on it.

looks awesome though. now you just need some pics of it on your car!!!

if i got the money and c/f Hood and trunk, woudl paint parts, maybe in a design. so it wasnt so broken up but you still see the carbon fiber.
