maybe it just read it wrong befor and the comp was recalibrating the amount of fuel you had left. do you know for sure that you had a half tank or did the display just say that?

if the dealer is a dick they will tell you to buzz off because of your Intake. you could always take your Intake out if its a seriouse problem.

If you continue to pump fuel in after you have topped off your fuel tank on a regular basis it can damage the gauge over time. Perhaps this is the case here.

if you were parked on an incline it causes your meter to read differently. (more gas on the front or back and less on the opposite side) was that the case?

no i never pump more gas than i'm supposed to. i always let got after it clicks. also i wasn't parked on n e incline. i did refill my tank to a full tank and i had put in $18 worth of gas meaning my tank really did go down to a quarter. i checked for leaks and i didn't see any. the fuel line looks good too. soo i dunno y it's taking that much gas. hopefully i'm gonna take it to the dealer and have them figure it out. thnx
