differences are:

b&m = taller, and i think easier throws
twm = shorter, i hear some peopel misshift but i ams ure if you knwo waht ur doing it wont matter.

Both are much shorter then stock but twm is a ton smaller then stock. so i think its waht you want. i believe prerformance is about the same

Then again i am commonly wrong so hopefully someone else knows.

Anyone put a fidanza in their celi? Or am I the only one? I put it in about two weeks ago. It was really stiff at first, but after a 1823 mile road trip, its pretty smooth now. I'm gonna check it this weekend and re-grease the ball joints on it. Shorter throws, and I stick my shifts every time. So far, I like it. Its cheaper too. ~$60 + shipping.

Fidanza makes a short shifter as well. I'll post pix when I can. I'll try to find a link as well.

Don't forget the TRD shifter. I love mine, it's plenty short if you don't want to sacrifice your easy slide-into-gear stock feel. The throws are super short, but it feels like stock when sliding into gear.

here let my break it down
B&M = shorter than stock, shortest throw
TRD = shorter than stock, stock feel but shorter throw
TWM = shortest, stiff and some say its hard like shit to get to reverse.
imo i would go for ether B&M or TRD if you want shorter shift, but if you want looks go for TWM thumbsup

B&M shortens shifts 38%
TWM shortens 60%

Both MAY increase misshifts, TWM will be more of a probability. I can see how TWM may be uncomfortable for daily driving.
I have B&M on my daily driver. Only have good things to say. Plus...easy install.

You do the math.

The fidanza short shifter came with everything I needed. Bushings, the shifter, and a knob (which I kept the origional leather one). I installed it in about 30 min. It didn't come with instructions, but it is pretty easy to figure out. I'll try to post pics when I can.

Is there a price difference? I'm too lazy to look them up right now, and I have a meeting in a half hour in another building.

I didn't realize the TWM was that much shorter eek

$160 for the B&M
$140 for the TWM

Is there really a difference between the '02 and the '00 shifters or right- and left-hand drive cars? TWM's webpage only has '02+ and right-hand-drive for the '00-'02. I guess in that case I'd have to go with the B&M idunno

...can you use the trd s/s for the updated shift gates...ive heard you can use the trd s/s but just take out the rod itself and not using the trd housing which assemblied already...is that true thumbsdown thumbsup
