What RPM did you take the car up to? The reason I ask is because it could be the fuse, I had the same problem last year, no lift at all the the rev limiter kicked in @ 7000 rpm. I took it to the dealer and it turned out to be a blown fuse. They told me the ECU sensed the lift cam not functioning (due to the blown fuse) and limited the rev limit to 7000rpm.

Which fuse was it? I replaced my bolts and I'm limited at 7k RPM as well. I also think I have a leak too...

I hand tighted then used the ratchet it so it is very easy to unbolt, but can't do it by hand.

Also the valve cover is supposed to be 7lb/ft

Side note: Which fuse should I check? I replaced my lift bolts and I didn't replace the valve cover gasket so I have a slight oil leak and the rev limiter kicks in at 7k rpm.

well if replace the gasket cause you know thats wrong. Maybe during disassembly and reassembly youll find something else. Check all your fuses.
