wut should i do?

ok well i was driving yesterday and i was racing this dude in a maxima. i smoked him but then once i started to slow down i hit this piece of crap metal thing that punctured my tire. i hurd this really loud noise and i was like shit cause i thought it just scratched my car or something, but once i got to the store i checked it out and my tire was completly flat. then i ended up driving home at like 15 miles an hour (took me like 30 mins to get home) and then when i got home i replaced the tire with the spare. then today i went to the garage to c if i could get my tire fixed but they said it was unfixable because the tire like rubbed the rubber a little. they said that i would have to pay near $300 for the 2 tires and the install. im like wtf cause like 1-2 weeks ago i paid $500 just to fix some noise that my car made. so since im a highschool student and poor as a mofo its gunna be a pain in the ass to pay this shit. well my question is if i can still drive around in the tire (once its sealed) but with the worn inside of the tire (it hasnt ripped any metal threads) or should i just pay the $300

heres a pic of the inside of the tire...

know one knows more about being strapped for cash and trying to get away with dumb shit. My advice, even though money is tight, get a new tire and call it a day. If it was a bumper scratch or somthing sure, but tires arent somthing you want to cheap out on, you potentially risk your life and the life of others

shell out the money, problems with tires = Russian roulette. but if you are really strapped for cash, just get one tire. next time something like that happens, put the spare on, don't drive on a flat.

The reason why they said it's not fixable is probably because you drove on the flat tire for nearly 30min!! That'll actually damage your tire more than the puncture it self! nono If you don't have a spare in the car and you get a flat, you should always get your car towed rather than driving with the flat! My advice is to save up for new tires... or slightly used ones from the classified forum, you'll find some wick deals if you search around! thumbsup

Can't believe you drove on a flat! Chances are they won't be able to get that tire to hold a seal, you destroyed the integrity of the side wall.

Get new tires, order them from tire rack, great prices there.
