I think ive been loosing gas because of my intake, i think its about time i clean it, but exactly how do i clean it and what product should i use, please help

there should be guide lines in the install section, i think.

basically, you should clean out the throttle body and maf sensor.

my car's been eating gas too. i just replaced my air filter, spark plugs (denso iridiums), oil, and used seafoam in the gas tank.

im gonna clean the t/b and maf later on as well. thumbsup

u can go to pepboys and get the k&n filter cleaning kit thumbsup

ya i usually get 30 miles to the gallon and all of a sudden i got like 20... i dont no what happened! hopefully after i clean my intake and stuff everything will be fine!

Temperature really affects mileage in our cars as I found out. I lost 10mpg this winter. Above 50 degrees and I get nearly 30, below 40 and I'm in the low 20s. thumbsdown

ive been getting the same problem...gonna get a new K&N filter...and start from there...if that not the prob then i'll clean the maf sensor next, and so on
