Okay, just a few quick questions. I tried to use the search but didn't find what I was looking for...anyway here goes..

1. Ok, I've got some chipped paint on the hood and somehow i'll get rid of those. But I was thinking once I do get rid of them how effective is getting a bra for the front? I've noticed that it should cover up much of the are where the chips are but i'm worried about discoloration. I've seen/heard of the area where the bra fits being a slightly different color than the rest of the vehicle due to exposure to sun

2. I've seen so much about the Euro tail lights but where would I find a different style of headlight? Are there any available? I've seen some of the links here but none had any headlights.

Guess that's it for now... Any ideas?

The only way I've seen headlights modified are with Bat's overlays or eyebrows or painted from the inside. I would never put a bra on my car.

I've seen JDM headlights but those run anywhere from $700 to $850+. Like xman said you're probably better off either painting them, buying some vinyl overlays or you could even install an angel/deamon eye kit. Unfortunately, we don't have many options when it comes to projector headlights and things of that sort like other car models have. Trust me I now need to replace both of mine so I'm quite frustrated at the moment! (damn extended warranty is good for nothing right now)

As far as your first question, I personally am getting ready to install a Colgan bra for the bumper and eventually a magentbra for the top of the hood. I have my own reasons for doing so, but if you are seriously thinking about installing a front end mask, make sure it's of high quality and remove it occasionally to let your paint "breathe." This will cost you much less than having to repair your paint all the time.

You may also want to look in to what some call "roc protectors" or "invisigards" for your lights. These are pretty much like the vinyl overlays that bat sells, except they are a clear vinyl or urethane film in case you don't want that "smoked" look.

3M 'clear bras' are suppposed to be fantastic, but they are available at very few bodyshops. As soon as they become available in CT, I'm in. Tiny chips from rocks are outta control here due to crappy winter climate... frown
