help with center armrest

Maybe I am just retarded but I was going to tighten my ebrake but I couldnt figure out how to remove the center armrest console.

open up the center console, remove the little cardboard-like piece, underneath that is 2 bolts--remove them.

there are also a few screws that are attached to the center console...pick up on the plaatic that surrounds the shift boot and pull away (disconnect cig lighter), unscrew those 2 screws.

pick the ebrake up as much as possible and just work the center console off.

Check the installs section for installing a short-shifter. Just look for the parts that deal with removing it (should have pictures as well. It's pretty easy!)
