Which brake pads?

I wanted to replace my warn out stock pads with something better or nicer. Toyota said that the stock ones are the best you can get. Is this true? I was thinking of upgrading the rotors but don't know where to start. Can some of you guys help? I have a 01 GT by the way. Thanks.

I've always heard TRD is pretty much the same as stock. AXXIS is the brand I hear reccomended the most.

TRD = Hawk (good pad, some dust and noise from what I hear)

Project Mu B-Force pads or NS pads or Zeal (if you really want to pay) except for the NA-D.
Those two companies are outstanding when it comes to brakes.

go to www.performancecenter.com and get some Brembo crossed drilled or slotted rotors and some brembo brake pads. All that would be about twice as much as TRD brake pads themselves, but I plan on doing it. Brembo rotors will make the pads last a lot longer as well thumbsup
