hey buddy. i have the same scoop wink Yea mine didnt fit competely either. So i took that little metal grate thingy out and then it was much better. They are on ebay, look for the ones that are like 55 or buy it now for like 80. will say c-one or something. man that was so unspecific wink its grea for the money smile

for mine the fitment was a bit high. So had to take out the metal black thing in there. Once i did that and jsut wrenched downt he bolts it was pretty good. I am going to put alittel mech in that hole now to keep out the big stuff smile

Ok thanks. But that little metal grate thingie your talking about, I heard that you need to keep that, cause its job is to direct the airflow coming in towards your header area, as it was design that way and serves a purpose. You may want to try to fit that back in if you can.

I got the same one from ebay.
The fitment on mine is not perfect, but you can't tell unless you get really close to it.
I didn't remove anything, but had to drill some extra holes into the scoop to make it fit better.

I bought it for $100 shipped, but I wish I would have waited because you can probably get it for $75 shipped. The seller always has them on ebay, just keep bidding the minimum and you're bound to win one for that price (unless everybody on this forum tries to get them at the same time, lol)

Not a bad scoop if you pay $75 for it (i probably wouldn't pay $100 for it again).

yea i got mine for like 120 shipped in like october. deff allot cheaper. i havent had any engine problems or overheating since i put the scoop on and had it for months now. If i can figuere a way to get it to fit i will put it back smile

I took a rubber mallet and beat the shit outta my hood so it's not that high.
