I'm looking for black rims with polished lip. The question i have is i just bought toyo proxes 4 215/45/17's, what rim size should i get. I know 17's but when i search, they'll have 17x8 or 17x9. What does the number after the tire size mean?

idk about the limits but wouldnt wanna stretch it too far so yeah 17x8 with 215 and 17x9 with 245 would be better

17x9 with P215 tires will look like the tire is overstretched out. For P215 tires, you'll want 17x8 for sure, I think that's the perfect fit.

GO to tirerack and look at the tire specs it will give a rim width range... i would say for a 215 a 17x7 would be your best bet.
