i have been so broke lately, and when i get my tax return i had planned on getting wheels/tires. i injured my knee and lost a job (and my place). so i've got no extra money. i definately want 18s, but 17s are so cheap. you can get them for $599 shipped with tires from wheelsNEXT or wheelmax. if i were to get 17s and just get a large drop, say 2", do you think i would be satisfied with 17s? i guess i could always sell the 17s, and my stock 16s down the road for larger rims. i hate to settle for 17s when i know i want 18s much more, but it's all i can afford.

save for the 18's, they look so damn good on our celica's.

sounds like 18's are what you want, why settle for less?

Only reason I would maybe suggest 17's is you will more than likely expereince better performance out of them.

He has an auto GTS i don't think he's going for performance

Save for the 18's (or at least save the money since you can't work)

performance means nothing to me. its an auto gts with no performance mods. its all show no go. so i'm not gonna let weight or size or rims affecting performance sway me at all.
