Project Fix the Celi...
Alright, I bought my Celi GTS about a year ago. threw a body kit on it, lowered a few inches, custom paint the works... I had to go out of town for business and was gone for around 4 months. When I returned, it appeared that some haters went psycho on my Celi. After a few weeks of throwing stuff, screaming at random people and just calming down I filed insurance and got a nice settlement out of the deal once I found out who did it.

They basically destroyed my front and rear bumper, sanded all over my paint, slashed all the tires, broke both exhaust tips, demolished my carbon fiber wing, and broke my sun roof. So I'm in the process of 'restoring' my celi. I have done a lot of work but it is FAR FAR FAR from the show quality that it used to be. Instead of replacing the sun roof I decided to shave it, devalueing my car by about $1500 just to put a roof scoop on. (I have Lupus which is a disease that messes with my immune system also makes me very sensitive to the sun so my sun roof was closed 24/7 anyways). I have fiber glassed the front and rear bumper also back to new, just needs alittle more sanding and bondo. I sanded the clear coat off the entire car getting it ready to be repainted (House of Kolor's Ultra Orange Pearl, with Majestic Blue Pearl clear coat). I put the stock spoiler back on, I haven't decided if I'm keeping the stock spoiler or going with another bleacher seat, or possibly the veilside spoiler. I had to put the stock gts wheels back on too.

So here's a few pics of what the car looks like now, it should have all the body work done by friday depending on the weather and should be painted sunday. Lemme know what you think, I'll have pics posted when it gets painted and the icon gunmetal wheels get put back on...

damn could you give us a bit more info about the punk(s) that screwed withyour car - like were they neighbors, friends?

wtf is wrong with people? i hope the next time you go somewhere for a long amount of time, you leave your car in a safer location, i.e. a garage, a trusted friend, or family/relatives. thumbsup

Dude i know exactly how you feel. My car was vandalized in my school parking lot while i was in class. Total damage was around $3,500. Your post honestly almost made me cry because i know how it is (being i am 16) and working day in and day out to earn the money to put into your car. And when some fucking idiot trashes your car for no fucking reason other than jelousy it shows how "low" some people are. Anyone can have waht we have if they just got up of there ass and when to work. Look at me i am 16 and i have a modded 2000 Celica and i was handed nothing. I got a job when i was 14.5 and have worked since and put EVERY single dollar to what i love, My Celica. Don't let anyone take away what you have. And most of all don't do anything stupid that would bring you down to their level because of your anger. Someday they will get what is coming to them. Don't you worry. I would really like to see some pics of your car before this disaster occured. Best of luck to you and your celica!

that totally sucks dude, but looks like it's motivated some awsome upgrades to your car deffinately feeling the orange pearl, I'm thinking of getting some shade of orange for my car as well sometime later when my paint is old and scratched and chipped I've got a silver car now too.

weasel I comend your work ethic, but honestly you had to have had some help getting your celi at 16, mostly in your parents credit and paying your rent.(my rent and bills = 3x my payment + insurance) just do good in school so you can continue to own and mod cool cars for a long time to come.

The guy used to work for me when I was manager at Chuck E Cheese's. I was responsible for his termination because he was caught on camera stealing. I think this was his way of letting me know that he didn't like being fired. It's alright now, I'm not mad or upset anymore becuase he got what he deserved and I had enough money left over to buy a turbonetics t3 turbo with manifold and wastegate. Just gotta buy the plumbing, intercooler, bov and injectors then I'll be pssshh everywhere I go wink. Anyways, I guess this could be used as the excuse to finally do the mods that I wanted to do. I'm 19, and I paid for all the mods to the car, and the car itself (still owe around 6grand on it) so I guess when you look at it, it is kinda low that someone would do that, but its not the first time my car has been the teroristic target and I'm sure it won't be the last... But what I do know for sure though, is the next person to fuck with it won't be lucky enough to go to jail, I'm going to send them to the morgue...

Its the full Invader 6 body kit. When it gets painted it will be one solid color, the Organge pearl with blue pearl clear coat.

The guy who did it was running his mouth around his friends about how he did it and one of his friends was a friend of mine too. So He told me

I paid $200 for the manifold, wastegate and turbo off of a totalled gts. The piping and intercooler were trashed so I think I made off with a pretty good deal. The turbo was 100% rebuilt and the turbine spins like new so we'll see how it works when I get it put on in a month or so
