I know I have seen a thread on here awhile ago about this but does the Jet Chip really work with our cars or is it smarter to just get a power FC?

It's possible that the guy got the chip to work...but the way it was installed if you ever wanted to change something you'd have to send in your entire ECU back to the company for them to change it.

With the PFC you can tune on your own. The PFC also lets you change VVT, lift, and rev limiter.
