what parts of the celica do you think makes the most rattling noise from the sound system? the back deck? the plastic panels? out side metal parts? just looking for some opinions so i can figure out what i need to dynomay and using the least mat possible since i dont want a lot of added weight nd i dont have a lot of money

I would have to say the rear side panels.

so on the rear sides would you put dynamat on the panelitself or underneath the panel on the metal?

Depends how loud you want to go.I had a 12w7 and the worst thing on mine was the gas lid you could hear it really bad inside the car and outside the car was a lot worse it sounded like hell rofl

the gas door lid rattles like crazy when that "boom" hits

nothing on the inside rattles. just the license plate but I fixed that by getting the Carbon Fiber license backing.

My whole back hatch moves...I guess I over did the whole stereo thing, but then again that's the way I like it... grin grin grin

my doors rattle a little i think...i'm not sure if it's the speakers or the door handles or what confused

thats cool i just wanna target the worst AREAs when i put the mat in, so maybe some matt under the gas lid, under plate and frame and rear panels would cut down most of the rattling...

The hatch and LP were the worst in my car. But i had the WHOLE car dynomated and it stoped heh

IT's rather difficult to get right behind the fuel door lid. I put a piece on the lid itself and it didn't do anything. The rear hatch handle rattles bad too, but just remove all the plastic from the trunk and tighten it down real good. When you do your door speakers, I would def. recommend putting a piece around the mounting area of the speaker. I don't think it's totally necessay to do the whole door.

My hatch and my rear view mirror (the one inside in the middle) rattle rofl
