hey wats up guys,
i have an injen short ram intake on my 2000 gts but i was thinking that a cold air might be better...i want more power and torque...which do you suggest ?? i will be adding a 75 wet shot of nitrous soon

the power differences aren't that much..you'll get about 1-2 more whp from a cold-air. you'll lose some initial torque..but make it up plus a bit more on the higher end.

there are pros and cons to both though:

cai: more power, hydrolock, filter gets dirty faster
sri: less power, virtually no hydrolock, filter stays clean longer

if you're adding a nitrous shot..i would just stick with your shortram instead of wasting money on a cai. you'll get the exact same power with nitrous whether you have cai or sri...the cai will only be more powerful when your not running nitrous (about 99.9% of the time).

Caleb explained things pretty well... my vote is for the cai since the few extra ponies coupled with increased time not running nitrous gives logical gains

since you already own an intake just stick with it since you're getting nitrous anyway. Any gains you be getting from upgrading to a CAI will be miniscule compared to a 75 shot.

I'm debating whether to get the injen short ram or wait an indeffinate amount of time for a TPR intake. have you had any bogging/cel problems with your injen SRI?

keep your SRI, you don't need the CAI
