Anyone want to recommend some tires for me?
I don't plan to change my rims, so they need to come in 195/60/15 size.
I don't plan to buy snow tires, and I live in the midwest, so they must be all-season tires.
I've never been to a track, so quiet ride and long treadlife are probably more important to me than dry traction. Wet traction and handling in snow are important however, as I don't want to be spinning my tires, hydroplaning, or sliding all over the place come wet weather and winter.
As far as price, I'm thinking $50-$60 per tire, which somehow comes out to about $400 once I pay for mounting, disposal, valve stems, road hazard, lifetime rotation and balancing, etc.

Yeah, Tirerack.com's decision guide answers everything you asked. So if you were going to buy from them, here's your recommendation- http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compare1.j...p;x=58&y=15 [ tirerack.com]

Thanks for the suggestions so far, but the Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 and the ECSTA 711 are both summer tires. As I noted, I need all-season tires. Does anyone have any specific experience with the ECSTA HP4 716's?
I've used Tirerack, but part of the problem with their reviews is that tires perform differently on different cars. I'd like to get some feedback about specific tires used on Celicas. Also, Tirerack doesn't include Falken or Toyo tires.
By the way, my local Tire Barn recommended Toyo Proxes TPT. One of the Bridgestone/Firestone dealers said those would be noisy and wouldn't last as long, and he recommended Bridgestone Turanza LS-T. Dare I use a T-rated tire since the OEM equipment is H-rated?
Keep 'em coming...
