I am planning on getting 18inch rims for my celica, but i know I have to drop it. I am planning about between a 1.25 to 1.5 inch drop. Some people told me it's fine to just change my springs, some said to change the springs and shocks. I mean if I was made of money I would just do the springs and shocks, but if it is recommended to do that then I'll just save up. Any recommendations on which springs and shocks to get, I was thinking of Eibach.

But should I just do springs, or should I do the springs and shocks?

Its up to you. If you get just springs now your gonna eventually have to get new struts even if you go with springs that dont lower all that much (like trd). The lower you go, the faster your stock struts will go out. You could save yourself the money on install (if you arent doing it yourself) by getting both put in at the same time but I still am not sure if the struts will last the remainder of the cars life.
