2005 Celica sunroof. Does it slide ubove the car or hidden.

I own an 00 and I'm interested in buying an 05.I don't like how the sun roof slides out ontop of the car on mine. anyone who owns an 05, do the new ones stay hidden when you open them like the Fords and Honda's?

It's pretty much the same body. I don't think there is enough room for the sunroof to tuck into the rest of the roof so it is probably the same as an 00. I don't know from actual experience though. I like the 05 action pack it comes with more stuff like tail lights and it's pretty cool looking.

The only difference between the sunroof between yours and an '05 is, the '03 and up is glass. The sub '03's are fake and flake.

There's not enough roof space for it to tuck under the panel. It sticks out...no matter what year...sorry celipro

Or maybe it's the cheapness. How should I take care of my car so my sunroof doesn't peel from being lexan?
