Ok, my 2001 GT doesnt have the Upgrade package, which is Power doors locks, windows, and cruise control.

Well I really need cruise control. Everyone says I should go aftermarket, but im not a big fan of aftermarket stuff.. I like Toyota OEM. So I bought all the components for cruise out of a wrecked 00 Celica GTS in Wisconsin.

First thing I noticed (before the cruise even came in) was that i didnt have a wiring harness for the cruise taped up or anything in the engine bay. So I figured id need the GTS harness from inside the cabin to the engine bay (pass side headlight, airbag crash sensor, cruise control).

Got that wiring harness and went to look at hte passenger kick panel (where this wiring harness terminates onto sockets which go back to the main wiring area behind the stereo). Get to looking, and its missing the extra socket the GTS wiring harness has (for cruise control and fog lights I believe).

So now its lacking a socket to plug the wiring harness into for the Cruise Control. Im going to tear in this weekend and see if there is even a socket to connect a harness at the main harness termination point behind the stereo and whatnot. If there is, I think I can run the wires over to the pass kick panel, and connect them to the wiring harness for the cruise control.

Here's pics of what im talking about

That pic shows the open slots for sockets. Here is a picture of the GTS wiring harness with the extra harness that my car doesnt have a socket for.

That's a tough one. Good luck though. BTW, where in WI did you find a wrecked GTS?? I need to get something off one.
