Hey guys,

I am wondering on which is the best option to go with.

I have some cash saved up for some sort of a mod/mods.

Would you get a body kit and be done with. Keep in mind that when I do get a bodykit, I would have to wait a while to get it painted + installed.

OR

A headunit
An alarm
Box and install of my 12" JL

i have the same delema as u. I am getting a kit 1st. My thinking is: the gts stock sterio sounds good for now smile atleast the 04 does i dont knwo about other years. Alarms can be good but my only experience is everyone ignores them now a days (my moms 300 went off for 40 min after someone broke in at a walmart and noone did anything. She nolonger goes to walmart wink So get keyless entry, 40+ 50 install at pepboys and be happy with that wink GTS suspension is spiffy as well. Sure eventually it will be good to get lowered or stiffer. I like instant gratification, and a kit just does that. Install it yourself to save some big bucks. All you need is a buddy and a drill smile Sure need to save for painting but it will be worth it.

Well this is just my 2cents smile Get whatever will make you happiest. thumbsup

ps sorry for bad typing. I am so tired and have 2 tests tomarrow. damn college crap smile

Do I read you right that you currently have the sub, but it's not installed? If this is the case, I would go the second route and finish up the project you already started before embarking on another.

Take it from me, if you don't have the money to get the kit AND get it painted, the first route isn't worth it. It's not cool to see a hot kit sitting in it's box unpainted and uninstalled while waiting for money.

I am selling one of them. But no one has been fully interested in actually pulling thru.

I am keeping one for sure.

Used to have 2x12" but it was just too much and the added weight was...yea...

As for an alarm, I was thinking of getting the Clifford 2 way pager one because I can get it for $185 I believe, but I might just get something cheaper after reading that post above.

I hate the stock HU because I cannot play MP3 or read CD-RW. Also my Fosgate Amp is not really being fully used because I am using the converter so that it will feed onto the stock HU.

See, if I go the 2nd route, I can prolly get some deals on some rear speakers and dynamat the sucker. The back two speakers is rattling like crazy because of the 2x12" before.

I am thinking of going the 2nd route for sure now.

O as for suspension. Shocks and springs? Going for TRD or Eibach Pro kit, what would be some good shock at a reasonable price to go with those springs?

it sounds like your big into stereo's, so I'd get the alarm (keep everything safe) and then do the sound system.

i find it funny that your mom is boycotting wal-mart for something that isn't wal-mart's fault spineyes

as for an order to buy things... if i didn't have money to paint the kit... i probably wouldn't get that first... because if you put the kit on it would look retarded unpainted... and if you didn't put it on.. then it would be sitting in the box.. and what would be the point of buying it? it all just depends on what you want more... if you want looks... save up a little more to pay for paint.. and THEN get the body kit... otherwise get all that other stuff...
