Opinions on rims...

I've got 8,5x19 rims, but I want some rims with a black center, and polished lip. So I'm thinking about selling the ones I have now...

And buying these 8,5x19 3 piece rims instead, and paint the spokes all black...

And, yes, the car will have a bodykit. Rod millen front, vizage sides+rear, custom wing, dual exhaust, a big drop, invader carbonfiber Hood ++

The car will get a fresh coat of black metallic aswell, to really shine smile

So, opinions on the rims? Keep the ones I have, or get new ones?

why does the wheels stick out so much in the last pic? Is it because of the offset or the width? IT needs a wide body kit or it looks ugly.

It's the same wheels as in the in the first picture, but with some spacers fitted for test purposes. Ofcourse I'm not going to drive around like that! smile

Everyone I've talked to about simply spraying them, says the paint will start to chip off eventually. And the guys who powder coat wheels says they can't do just part of the wheel. Which means the wheel will be all black, and I don't want that.

So, to do it right, I need some 3 piece rims. And I'm thinking the rim I posted a picture off will look pretty sweet on my car, with a kit, a big-ass drop, and a fresh coat of black metallic paint on it. All shiny and whatnot smile

Anyways, at this stage, is still just an idea.

oh ok, sorry man...i was just wondering. People around where i live actually drive around like that and it gets on my nerves. Are spacers safe..? I always wondered this.
