I found out recently that sometime in the near future i may need to get a new clutch. I took it in the shop and they asked i wanted to go ahead and replace. They said it wouldn't go out for a while but i might wanna replace it.
Anyone know of any aftermarket/performance clutches they would recommend or is the stock one the best choice?

when you shift, do the rpms seem to jump??? if so, you may want to think about getting one changed out.

if everything still feels the same...i wouldnt worry about it and just save up for when the day comes...

i will be getting ACT stage 2 clutch and a MWR chromoly flywheel.

i think theres a few pages already talking about clutches so maybe you can find something you like...let the search button be your friend

i need my clutch replaced, what is the differences in the stage's of clutches you can buy? i plan on having I/H/E and n20 eventually.

Also, how is the installation? I have installed my header, intake, and ss on my car without any help with no problames. I am willing to have my car down a couple days but how hard of an installation is it?

Unless you have a lift installing the clutch is no fun. We had to drop the engine towards the right to get the tranny out. Unless you have done one before I would have someone do it for you.

I dont know about the GT but for GTS they said not to mess with flywheel going turbo. If anything to get the most heavy performance flywheel. Not sure for the GT since they dont have lift.

Shit mine jumps a little when i push in the clutch? Is this really my clutchwearing out or just because im giving too much gas? I only notice it under higher loads.

no,he means after clutch is engaged..if you let the clutch out and it takes a second before the rpms catch up theat means your clutch is slipping
