hey so im paiting my pillars black... what paint should i use and should i go for the glossy/shiney look??? if so what else would i need... i take it id need to primer and then just put coats...

check the installs guide on how to paint your dash, it should be the same concept. How are you painting your pillars though? are you taking them out or just masking stuff off?

take them off, just two clips holding them on.

Pull them off and clean them up. Then spray 2-3 light coats of primer. I dont know your color scheme but I like glossy black look,thats how mine are. I used the Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric paint in gloss black. Its cheap and goes on nice. Spray 2 coats of that on or until you fill in all the bare spots. Wait like 6 hrs after painting to put them back in the car. I made the mistake of putting them in too early and almost passed out from the paint fumes..and not in the good way either. Thats about it, anymore ?'s
