Celica alarm
I got a quick question.

I open my car with a key right now.

If my celica doesn't have an alarm, does it mean I don't have keyless either. Or is it still possible I have keyless entry, but no alarm.

EDIT: forgot to add that I have a 2000 GT.

Thanks.

It is possible to have keyless entry and no alarm but it a pain in the ass. you need to put selenoids into the doors to release the lock but most of these heed an ugly ram to push the door open. Why not get a clifford alarm with intellistart and pop open doors. Its the bes value for all three in one go. Plus it does other cool stuff like you can turn on your lights from outside your car and stuff.

thanks for the reply man, but it's not what I am asking.

I have power locks and power windows, but I am not sure if my car has keyless entry, so basically that was my question.

If someone knows how to check that without actually going to a dealer.

hey buddy i was oging to post this same quesitons right now. I went to pepboys adnt hey have this bulldog keyless kit for 40 and 50 to sintall. was going to get it right then but they said i had to come back another day to busy. Then soomeone mentioned waht you said about just getting the click. I called today and dealer said my car had yo have their active security feater added in to have keyless. I looked at my sticker when i boughjt it and it doenst say it anywhere. He said it woudl be liek 300 to install. I am saying f toyota and go with 90 installed at pepboys. Yea its not an alarm but keyless is good enough for me.
