I had the muffler cut off, and a glass pack installed. Its sounds awesome, but is that cutting out some hp??

how big is the glass pack? Did you get custom piping, if so, how big? You probably lost some low end, but your high end is probably ok.

Anything you take out..I.E.-muffler, resonator, cat, etc..will make it less restricted, thus giving little gains. But replacing with a glass-pack won't give you as much as if you removed the muffler completely and left it off. Also, isnt the glass-pack just like a resonator and not the muffler at the end? So, that would mean you replaced your resonator. If that's correct, then you really don't need the glass-pack or any resonator since all it does is reduce the sound.

Why did you get that done? And why did you do it not knowing what it would do to your car's performance?

I wanted a better sound, and had heard that it was great...but just wondering if there was a better way.

What do you think 99/100 of the things that ride the streets have on them, It is SURE the H*** not a glass pack anything, but a PERFORMANCE EXHAUST SYSTEM (CAT-BACK or THE WHOLE SYSTEM). So you are just screwing your self with that, so called glass packed tip/muffler.
