Does anyone know how the inside of a stock Celica exhaust look like?
To make 2 dual exhaust (left - right) is it maybe a idea to connect the second pipe directly to the muffler instead to use a Y connection.

I don't want anything better than stock. The sound is good (not to loud and nice) and the quality is good (last at least 13 year). A dual exhaust (left-right) looks better (symmetric). I want to connect the second pipe directly to the muffler. But i need to know how the chambers are spread (assume it is a reflecting system and not absorbing)

i liek the dual better too. Jsut figured it woudl be easier and maybe cheaper to get new one. I am sure you coudl have a fake second pipe jsut welded. Or take it to a shop and they coudl prob make you some custom setup.
