Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Help, interior misaligned

so I was stupidly trying out something I read, to take the door sill off (the plastid that says celica on it). Just to see what it looks like. But now that I popped it back in place, the end looks like its bent, doesn't fit back properly. Do I have to live with it or can I bend it back into shape. Your thoughts please

ummm, did any of the plastic turn white??? if so you are SOL but if not just adjust the kick panel plastic to allow you to have enough room to slide it in place.

The plastic did not turn white (thankfully) however, I can't align it because I did not remove it completely in the first place. I think I'll just have the dealer do it, I'm taking my car in on Friday (my oil is dirty as hell)

then the dealer can charge you $1000 for installing




EDIT: another "fucken dealer" story is waiting to happen

are all the clips going into their assigned holes? i dont think you need to take it to a dealer, just take it back out, look at the underside and try to put it back in.
