my windshield wiper fluid work fine till it got really cold. it must be the fluid, i'm assuming it doesn't have anti-freeze in it.
so i poured some rain-x de-icer windshield fluid in the fill hole. it got full. so i definitely think my windshield wiper fluid is frozen.
its annoying me because i need it to work, due to the bad weather over here. Anyway to fix it besides maybe waiting for a hot day which would take forever.

maybe try running the engine for a while to heat the area. Run errands I guess, if its possible, otherwise I'd say your kinda stuck for a while.

Well, you're going to have to thaw it out. You'll probably just have to wait for warmer weather, or get it into a garage thats (preferably) heated. Ask around and see if any of your friends can help. Once you get it thawed, be sure to run it a bunch to make sure the de-icer is mixed in, and has been run through the lines.

This cold weather up in the Northeast sure seems to be causing a lot of trouble.

The idea to drive your car around and heat it up sounds good.

If it doesn't work, maybe you could gently heat it with a blow dryer?

I drove my car from cleveland to the Michigan/Indiana Border. The fluid finally thawed by then...so it works, just takes FOREVER.
