I think im gonna buy one soon but i got to thinking about what happens when I coast. The lightened flywheels let you build up momentum faster but wouldnt you lose momentum faster as well. If i get one installed does that mean im gonna have a lot more engine braking when i downshift. Also Id like to know wheres the cheapest non ebay spot to buy one.

the fly wheel will spin easyer which means it will speed up faster then normal and slow down faster then normal

there will be a minor diffrence in engine braking (will be less) but barely noticable

its the compression and everything in the engine that slows the car down in engine braking

hey thats a 20 minute phone call

the first negative thing I noticed was that my car didn't want to cruise as well on the freeway with my Clutchmasters 9 lb flywheel. less rotational momentum I believe. It became more of a sprinter and less a cruiser.

however I have since done enough upgrades to increase my low end torque so that cruising feels nice and easy despite the lw fw. PFC was probably the biggest contributor.

I get my kicks on EC.
