Well, that's one nice thing about AZ. Still, taking the Celi skiing is a challenge.

My celica does alright in the snow. If you drive with common sense, you'll be fine.

Got caught in a suprise snow storm last year with the stock yoko's, in a word Scary; little to no traction in the snow, had to do 25mph all the way home from work.

After putting on a set of Michelin Arctic Alpins it did just fine in the snow.

When those wear out I think I'll go with Bizzacks or Michelin X-ice for a winter tire.

Never had problem with them.
Not even on 7-inch snow covered road.
But my car is AWD.
Any way, don't try Yokohama AVS summer tire.
With that tires, I can push my car with one hand on snow packed road.

In dry normal conditions; the stock Yokohamas are good, but the Potenza's are absolutely awesome.

In the rain or on wet roads I found the stock Yokohamas have a tendency to hydroplane easily, where as the Potenza's seem just as sure footed as they are in dry conditions.

All around the Potenza's are a better tire.

The celica drives good in the snow. Even with the stocks.
