test fit and check the fitment before even thinking about installing. Then if you need to drive your car around, just get kit painted, but if you can afford to install it and then have them paint it, the colors will blend better and look more even.

yea fit and drill the kit if needed before painting, so everything lines up and you don't mess the paint up.
then send it to be painted and just install it when it comes back.

yeah i'd test fit it and do all drilling and adjustments you need to do...get everything ready to go so that you can get it painted...and then put it on carefully...then you can just hold it up and screw/bolt it in.

If you're having both your car and a kit sprayed, deliver the car to the shop without the kit mounted. If you mount the kit, they will have to remove it again before spraying it. That takes time, and costs you money.

And, yes, you should TEST mount it FIRST to see if it fits. And when whatever is needed to make it fit is done, remove the kit again. THEN take the car, and the kit, to the shop.

But you guys are saying that i should make sure the fitment is okay b4 i get it painted so that means i shouldnt get it painted by them?????? SAame thing with the spoiler

Correct. Don't get it painted. If you get it painted, what will you do if it doesn't fit?

And, another thing -- when having a kit painted, if you're not getting the car painted aswell, you should always leave the bodyshop with a part of your car to match the paint to, to avoid color differences. Something like your gas lid, a wing, or something easy to remove.
