I got a nice Alpine MP3 headunit for Christmas. The problem now is that I have bad road noise coming from the speakers. After alittle diagnoses with the radio pulled out, I deteremined that MOST if it is coming from the antenne wire. If it's anywhere close to the patch cords running to the amp, the road noise kicks in. I've tried moving it away, but it falls back near the patch cords through casual driving. Aside from doing some complicated zip-tieing, is there any way to otherwise 'shield' the patch cords from the antenne wire?

By the way, the patch cords I'm using are very high end. I told Car Toys to put in the best they had, so they were like $70 each and titanium tipped, etc.

I guess I don't know what is a good electrical interference insulator. You think eletrical tape would help?
