woooow... that is waaaaaaaaaaay too much money... it would be one thing if it had low mileage... i have a friend that has a 94' VR-4 and i don't think i'd even pay $13,000 for his (that's cause i know what he's done to it... haha) don't get me wrong i loooooooooove 3000GTs i have one and my celica will go before that car ever will... but once they get "up there" in miles they start having problems (as normal cars do) mine has around 112,000 miles on it (it had 18,000 when i got it laughsilly) and my tranny just went... so whose to say that car's not going to nickel and dime you with all the miles it has on it now... especially with twin turbos

My buddy Nate (user name for Ecelica is Derf) just bought a 1992 3000gt VR4 (the twin turbo model) that had 25k original miles on it and he paid 13k or 14k for it. You are going to pay what seems like a lot of money for these cars but i feel that the price for that one is kinda steep.

If you are seriously looking at it, see what type of maint. was done on it, if he has a record, if the recalls were ever done to it... (diferetial problem, Tranny problem are the main 2) and then make your jugdment from them thumbsup

I know that Derf has been doing a lot of research on them so if you have any questions send him a pm and tell him that jamey told you about him thumbsup

that's MUCH better... haha... keep lookin though cause i'm sure they'll go lower than that...

a couple years ago there was an old couple selling theirs for $17,000... it was a white '99 VR-4 and had like NO miles on it (cause they barely ever drove it) man if i would've had $17,000 i would've jumped on that one

^^^ The thing i don't like about his car is to me the way it handles. Feels like i am driving a 1982 Caddie. Hopefully when we install the new springs and shocks this spring it will make it a lot better.

The other downfall is they are pigs. Very heavy car

yeah... especially after driving a celica i'm sure... i'm just partial to mine i think because my dad gave it to me when i was 16 so it's got sentimental value and that car's been everywhere with me... that and it's one hottttt car... haha

if you mean the white one from a couple posts up... trust me it was... i think it was actually an older woman selling it... and either her husband just died or left her and she just didn't want the car
