Celica Forums General Discussion General sun roof

Hi this question is for all 2000 & up celica owners who have a sun roof. Is you sun roof loosing its top coating layer? my has started but my friends is completely gone & now it looks horrible. I called toyota directly to see if there is any recalls but there wasn't enough complaints to become a recall. So what i'm trying to do is to get as many toyota celica owners to call & complain about the sun roof pealing off so that they will make it a recall item. I will post the phone # when i get it & will post for all.

My sunroof did the same thing!

I spray painted it matte black and I think it looks great.

I figured that the only time I use it is in the open position so I do not care that I can not see thru it!
