I want to make my celica fast, extremely fast, i was wondering if you can do egine swaps with a celica because most engines would be too big for the celica to handle, i want a rotary engine, or the Lexus IS 300 engine, but i dought those would fit, what is possible in engine swaps for the celica????????

The only GOOD engine swaps are the high dollar custom jobs. Without a lot of money ($20,000+), you can slam a 2ZZ-GE (GTS Engine) into your GT. Swaps have been done, but they are not practical for everyday use.
Toyota's are not built like honda's if that is what you were thinking. You just can swap out a B16A2 for a B18C5 and wa-la.
Consider Supercharging or Turbo for your GT, it is the best bet.

you can turbo the GT to hit around 300 whp. I'd just go that route.
