I was trying to convince myself that the stock head unit in my Celica was sufficient, but finally stopped by a car audio store, looked at head units/cd changers and ended up getting a Pioneer 760MP and 6 Disc Changer. It is nice to have mp3 ability and not have to change cds every half hour or so.

So far, I am still satisfied with the stock speakers and their directioning.

Trying to think if I want a custom muffler shop to do my exhaust or just buy the TRD package.

Nice and congrats!

I have a question regarding the MP3 playback. Since MP3 when compared to wav file are a bit smaller, does it take away from the sound quality. So for example, if you were to be playing 1 song, one in MP3 format, and the other is a regular CD format, would you notice a difference?

Not really Chelica, Mp3 compresses the audio. It only takes out frquencies that the human ear cannot hear. So you really won't notice it. Assuming that it is compressed at a high bit rate.

technically yes there is quality loss but like /\/\ said to the common human ear you wont hear it... Oddly enough I can hear the difference in a original cd and a mp3 ripped at 128 ...if I had the choice I would have originals in my car but changers take sooooooooooooooooooo long... so MP3 it is... plus you can scroll through em all like a damm jukebox and pick the one you want grin
