wheel weight

Does anyone know how much a stock gts rim weighs?

They are much lighter then 22lbs... for a 16 that is a heavy wheel... which the stock wheels are very much so not! they weight appox 35lbs with tires on the wheel which would put them in the 15-17lbs range.

Someone on another forum weighed them, and I remember they said it was exactly 18lbs.

Yeah I used spam to hold the rim in place... but I did reCalibrate the scale so it read's zero... happywink

...and this is the same scale we use when we bring boxes on an airline and then they weigh it.. it matches up with their scale..

i weighed mine on my digital scale...says 18.0 lbs...and i also used this one to weight for airlines and it was the same...so... confused
