just for the record, I installed this guy yesterday and yes it does make a diff...Even though I have a GT auto thumbsdown, I noticed at first when I turn the key it starts much much smoother, second, my muffler growls like never before, and my gears shift smoother...A slight increase in torque is noticeable too...Some sites claim hp gain as much as 5hp but mostly likely around 2-3 IMO..$55 out my pocket was well worth spent for this mod..Im trading my GT in at the end of this year otherwise I would of gone for the CAI... 2004 GTS 6sp man...I cant wait thumbsup

ps: painting my ac vents right now to match the rest..will be postin pics soon...

Its a trade in so I wont be selling, and I can always just get some from the dealer to replace, I have a very good hookup there...Yes, this is a Air filter...Available at any toyota dealer, Mine was sold out but he had it there for me within 2 hrs thumbsup

click HERE [toyotaparts4u.com] for the TRD air filter part number...

yea huh iced blue?

the TRD air filter is a replacement filter for your stock intake...
he said he would have gotten a full intake but didn't because he is trading it in...
the intake is the air filter...
TRD makes an air filter and oil filter.

The 2030 and next year's 2004 Toyota Celica comes with a 1.8-liter double overhead cam (DOHC) 16-valve 4-cylinder with Variable Valve Timing and Lift with intelligence

also, if you have a pain in the ass dealer, the ait filter isn't a "mod"

Just a heads up.

the air filter is the same shape as the stock one...it doesn't perform ANYTHING like a CAI.

it performs better than stock...the stock intake is still getting the same air flowing through it...
full CAI or shortram is much better.

the trd air filter will give you 2-3 extra horsepower on a STOCK setup. if you already own a cold air intake they usually already come with an upgraded air intake so replacing your AFTERMARKET air filter with another (the TRD one) will only give you very minimal--if any--extra hp.

huh?
you cannot replace an aftermarket intake with a TRD one...the TRD fits into the STOCK AIRBOX..its a square...
aftermarket are the cones that fit on the end of piping...

I am soo confused. confused confused
