i just got a letter from toyota saying some cars had some master cylinder problem. It would be nice to have a new booster and master cylinder...but mines seems to work fine...should i go get it replaced?

there's a whole bunch of recalls on the tech spec part of this page. most of them are for 00-01 celicas.

i have a 2000 gt but i am the third owner so i wornt be getting a letter...should i go ahead and get it checked out. will they charge me? smile

I'm the second owner of mine and I got a letter last week. I brought it in to toyota and they told me nothing was wrong with the mas. cylinder. The recall is for a gasket or O-ring... something like that
