Does anyone know where the water temperature sending unit plugs into. I want to hook up a water temperature gauge.

in the engine bay, or behind the cluster? You may need to get a wiring diagram. Or I could just go look at my car to help you out. It will be on the block if that*helps any.

Dan, I know it's on the engine block. I can't seem to find the location or where it's at on the block. As for a wiring diagram, I don't have one. Could you help me out on this by posting some info on where it is, color of wire, etc. I would greatly appreciate it.

Crystal whats up. I just went out and looked at my engine bay. Take off your valvle cover plastic. If you lok on the drivers side of the block, you will see where the radiator hose connects. Now if you look to the right of that (towards the firewall on the block) there is an electrical connector. If you pull back the black rubber around the wires, the wires are brown and green (2 wires). I believe that is it. Let me look for a wiring diagram so I can verify this, but according to my knowledge I am pretty sure thats it, unless someone can say other wise.

let a mechanic look at it and he can tell you at toyota.
