why don't you just clean the filter? And I noticed your topic says Oil Filter! Hmmmm, I think you were thinking about putting the oil on your air filter to catch the dirt.

I don't believe its that hard man. Get a lil' dirty it won't hurt ya. Why spend money on a whole new filter when you can clean the one you got. Hell, get your shop to clean it.

I got my AEM CAI used and it didn't come with a filter. I bought Apexi because I heard good things about it and it barely beat K&N. There was slight fitment issues so a friend gave me one of his generic ebay filters. I noticed you can hear the hissing more and quicker acceleration but I am a little worried about the filtration quality. So if this topic could get revived I'd appreciate that, if not that's cool to. I don't think my filter will kill my car.

Okay, I know it's an AIR filter thread, however,
IMHO the best OIL filter is Bosch. My oil stays cleaner longer than with any other filter I've tried.
