ok, this is about the sway bars, which is better, the hotchkis or the TRD Sportivo? the hotchkis i can find for 270, but it is red, would paint them blue anyways. and the TRD in 349 and is fat and blue

Hotchkis! I say that just because Isaac said TRD smile Gotta always keep the tally at 50-50. Thanks for the Ecelica decals Isaac. Does that mean you are my sponsor if I put them on my car? Do I get discounts from your online store. grin Just kidding. they will officially be the first decals I ever put on my celi aside from the Tool and Sublime stickers on the back. Damn, now thats contradictory a Tool and sublime Sticker on the same car. What the f*ck is wrong with me? And I like Hotchkis just from the results they've got on the track with there celica. Haven't seen any hard evidence as to the statistics on a TRD suspension. I just know TRD has given the Celica the shaft as far as im concerned. Why buy from a company that puts more pride into a Toyota Tacoma then a Celica. Thats my 2 1/2 cents. later.

I'd rather not... what was done was done and does not have to be brought back to present time

True, but you know as I do your personnel issues can't over shadow the performance aspects of a particualar product. But I understand ya and I'll shut up now smile

ok first of all, hotchkis is better if you are going for performance. I have them, they look badass with my 17's
And trd = eibach, which is really good company. But for performance its not better than trd. it will look good if you have 18'+ rims. Over all hotchkis is cheaper and performs better.

oops i thought you were talking about springs. never the mind. Well hotchkis are more for racing, eventhough they have 2 diff sway bars. -sport and racing sway bar-. Other hand trd is more for comfort and sport. not as stiff as hotchkis, so its your choice

dont matter, it will be blue whichever one i get, and i found a suspension technologies set for 155 too, that is in between the quality of hotch/TRD and, dare i say, AmerPartsCrap

well there is a couple of things, he got new TRD pads along with the rotors. it could be a leak in his brake system from the bleeder, fron the brake line into the caliper, from the hose going into it, from when he had to compress the brake piston back in to make the new pads get around the new rotor

i wnet with suspension techniques rear sway same diameter as hotchkis stret rear sway butremeber hotchkis sways are hollow not as stif as solid mine is a 23mm solid bar hotchkjis is i believe 23 but hollow. trd are solid that i know but not away what diameter. I would stick with trd

remeber the hotchkis celi had race alignment and racign tires. not to mention a professional driver and the totla suspension package. swasy will not make your car handle as good as the hothckis celica.

I love my Hotchkis sways. The only downfall is it really stiffens that ride quality up a bit, but they make the car handle like a champ with a good set of coilovers.

i say get hotchkis i doubt you will feel a difference between the 2 bars and you know hotchkis is reliable. Its even cheaper so i say go with hotchkis.

ummm no shit, i know it will not have the same racetrack feel as the all racing hotchkis celi, i am not gonna lower my street car to race height, nor will i race it. i am not getting the 2400 suspension kit with the coil overs, i just want the car to sit more level when aggressively driving. i am gonna get the street bars. i can already out-handle 90%+ of the cars around here. i just want it to be my own. i would get the AEM big brakes, but i change mine to the 15's for long distances, so i dont want to change them out all the time. i was just getting input as to peoples' experiences as to which ones they like. i like my rear camber kit from hotchkis, the way it is a lot more stout than stock, how it is polished aluminum, and the grease fitting for the bushings. just little things that make it better.
