I JUST CHANGED MY AIR FILTER TO A TRD DROP IN AND NOW MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON...I KNOW THIS IS NORMAL BUT HOW DO I RESET THE ECU TO ADJUST TO THIS NEW FILTER..PLZZZZZ HELP...

I guess you just have to take negative battery for 10 seconds...try it!

you should have taken the negative terminal off before you did anything...just try that.

well I saw on a previous post that this guy went through all these steps to reset the ecu or something...where he turn the ignition on and off so many times and so forth...Anyone know of these steps..The neg terminal is disconnected at this time so im hoping leaving it off for about an hour or so will work...any other suggestions would be great

ok the 10 mins does not work, I left it off for an hour and it works..so the verdict is... 60 mins...Few im relieved..Thanks for all the input...

ok the 10 mins does not work, I left it off for an hour and it works..so the verdict is... 60 mins...Few im relieved..Thanks for all the input... yeah mine came on once cause I had not completely locked the fuel cap into place and I had to reset. Took about 15 mins and it was fine. Glad it worked out
