Hey guys, I am in need of some good advice. You know on the GTS there is the valve cover, the plastic thing that says VVTL-I. Well there are 4 bolts that mount the plastic piece. The one on the top right broke. I can see part of it sticking out but I cannot twist it out with pliers. Any suggestions on how to take it out?
Right now I took the plastic cover off. Would this be okay off for the time being?

hmm I'd be reluctant to tap it. I'd try using pliers with sand paper to twist it. If that wouldn't work dremel a slot in it and use a flat head screw driver.

What grit sand paper should I use?
And it is okay to drive around without the plastic cover?

It shouldn't hurt to drive around without it for a while. I'd say use any grit that has some bite. Your just using it to get a better grip of the bolt with the pliers.
