I am a new member and have not done any real major or minor customizations yet. So I was wondering what does a cat-back exhaust system mean anyway?

Thanks and Check yah later...!

Just look around this site and learn more about modifications that you can do to your celica. Its easier to do, rather than making all these posts. smile

Oh and a cat back system is an exhaust system to create more airflow and to give more HP depending which cat-back system you go with thumbsup

i'm not even sure what cat-back means...I think for one thing, it means it's not a full system...from the headers to the tip.

It means that with that the exhuast has everything needed from the catalac (Sp.) converter back. Its is partially new piping with a whole new muffler and exhaust tip. Hope this helps grin

Hay thanks, I had read some, you know the skim and cram like reading. But I constantly hear people talk about cat-back systems and didn't know what they are.

It means it is an exhaust that you buy that replaces the portion of your exhaust system that is behind your catalytic converter.
