here pretty soon im gonna put in my new system, and i dont kno what to do about the stock amp thats in there. should i just bypass the wires or disconnect it all together or what? is there any links on what to do?

you pretty much have to bypass it in the least...i'd just take the whole thing out completely though..you won't need it.

were is the stock amp located in the toyota celica ?

in the gts (or 8-speaker system) its in the glove box by the door

yea i figured id have to, do i just run the existing wires together?

how much does the stock amp push? it might be better to use the stock amp if it pushes more than the 200 a normal head unit pushes unless your also replacing the amp.

the stock amp runs on low frequency and will not allow an aftermarket head unit to work thumbsup I wrote an install guide. Search for it in this forum it's got pics and everything. thumbsup
